My “projects” basket has evolved into a corner/mess!  My projects and materials no longer FIT in the basket.  So I suppose that is how it goes and I am faced with the reality that I might maybe sortof AM disorganized.

Where to start.

You see the sock?  It had a purpose, at one time, I think.  If I remember correctly, it was started on a very cold afternoon, in the hopes that it could be stuffed with beans or something and placed in front of the french doors to eliminate a dreadful draft.  Well, what happened you ask?  As I progressed in my stitches, I noticed how LARGE around it was becoming.  This happened because of my adding to many stitches AND the fact our son thought it was really neat that it fit on his whole leg thus stretching it further.  Can you guess how many bags of beans or old WalMart bags it would take to fill it?  and it isn’t even through.  Maybe that should go in his toy box!

Granny Squares Galore!

I faintly remember a pattern involving granny squares, a vest maybe, or jacket.  Nonetheless, granny squares can be turned into almost anything.

The lone mitten

I do believe that mitten was made for me.  And no, I don’t have one hand, I have two but the reason why I only made one eludes me now.  It could have been that by the time I finished it I no longer needed them.  Or did I run out of thread?

I guess I know what I am doing this weekend.
